Year 7/8 State Futsal Tournament

A big congratulations to all the students who represented Sirius College in the “14 Boys” division of the state futsal tournament on Wednesday the 3rd of May. Our students qualified for the semi-finals after performing brilliantly through the round robin stage of the competition. With two wins, two draws and only one loss we finished second in our pool. We had our chances in the semi-final, but in the end we just fell short with a 2-0 loss to the eventual state champions. The boys represented the college magnificently throughout the entire day by showing great endeavour and sportsmanship. Our best performing players of the tournament were Hassan “clutch goal” Gao, Kayra Ulku, and Mohammed Habchiti.
